10 WEEKS OF INDEPENDENCE: A REVIEW AND FUTURE OF DERRYOUNCE
I, Frisky, The Park Ranger of The Free Centrist State of Derryounce, is proud to announce that The Micronation has now been independent for a total of 10 weeks! That’s 70 days of defining the future of Politics with the Magenta Party. There are no words about how happy and excited I am to tell all of you here about this wonderful news, although it may be only 12 of us now, The Community of Derryounce is sure to grow over the next 10 weeks and beyond.
This 10 Week Review will be a recap of what happened in Derryounce over the previous 10 Weeks, and what we hope to achieve over the coming 70 days and beyond. Let’s start with the recap then. Since we declared independence on July 4th, 2025, many things have happened since my first steps to everyone’s involvement.
A Breakdown of the past 10 weeks:
• We declared Independence • We set up a government where all citizens of Derryounce have equal say and rights
• We passed 7 new Acts and 4 Unpublic Acts
• We joined The Micronational Assembly, Micronational Federation and The United League of Micronations
• We became allies with 8 other Micronations
• We made an Official Government Website, MicroWiki page, Twitter, Youtube and Reddit account, got a Discord server and had out borders uploaded to 3 different world map websites
• We wrote a Constitution
• We gained 3 “Ambassadors” to Ireland, Northern Ireland and Norway
• We gained 7 Park Observers and 5 Park Citizens (One of them being The First Gentleman)
Plans for the next 10 weeks and beyond:
• Pass new Acts
• Gain more Park Observers and maybe even Park Citizens
• Make more allies • Try gain popularity in the local area
• Become allies with a Micronation in Ireland
I would love to thank all of you here very very much for being part of this new movement, but the following people deserve a Special Shoutout:
The Empire of Aristiois, Lumitheia and The Duffian Republic of Uhopia for being my first early allies, who helped me in the first few days when Derryounce was nothing more than just a new micronation with no setting up done whatsoever, L’Empire de Greater Cavingal for being possibly my best ally by getting me 2 allies at once and being a much bigger Micronation than my other allies (I’m sure the rest of you guys will grow very quickly!), All the Park Citizen‘s for being The Magenta Party and Government of Derryounce, for believing in a future of Politics and willing to be the one’s who shape the future, and most importantly, I’d love to thank The First Gentleman for being my motivation for not only This Micronation, but also my entire life.
With that I leave you all with one more request, inform the world about The Free Centrist State of Derryounce, as this Micronation can only grow if we all work together to spread the amazing world. We will all gather together again in the next 10 weeks, but I can’t wait to work with everyone here almost every single day.
